What you need for this recipe


All ingredients
  • 4 tins 1/10 (320 g) la belle-iloise “Stopover in Shanghai” flaked sardines
  • 160 g of Chinese egg noodles
  • 1 handful sugar snap peas (80 g)
  • 1 medium onion (120 g)
  • 1 medium carrot (100 g)
  • ½ clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
Let's get started


  1. Cook the noodles for 3 minutes in a large pan of boiling salted water, rinse under cold water and drain.
  2. Peel the vegetables.
  3. Thinly slice the onion and cut the carrot into thin sticks.
  4. Peel and chop the garlic.
  5. Place a wok or large frying over high heat with the oil.
  6. Fry the onions for about 2 min., then add the carrots and sugar snap peas.
  7. Add the garlic after a minute ant then the noodles.
  8. Towards the end of the cooking, when the noodles are completely heated through, add the sardines.
  9. Heat a little longer and then serve immediately.
  • To vary the flavours, add some green pepper, fresh coriander, and noc mam sauce.
