A soup-meal with an evocative name for a recipe that's both traditional and subtle... On their return from fishing, fishermen were entitled to a batch of fish called "la godaille". They cooked it with vegetables from the garden to make a rich and complete soup.

La belle-iloise reinterprets this classic: white wine, conger eel, shrimp, lobster and herbs simmer together to create a richly flavored broth in which chunks of pollock, potatoes , leeks and fennel cook. Delicious and invigorating!
