MER BORÉALE Flaked Herring

Just like the Northern Lights, which light up the horizon with their shimmering hues, it reveals a rich and nuanced aromatic palette.

Delicately flaked, the herring fillets offer a melt-in-the-mouth texture and a rich flavour.
Some of the fish is subtly smoked, adding depth and character to the taste. Paired with tender carrots and onions, the briny notes of Breton seaweed (dulse and royal kombu) harmoniously enhance the flavours of the sea.

The recipe really comes into its own thanks to its refined seasoning: the five berries elegantly bring out the smoky notes, whilst the lemon zest and garlic add freshness and depth.

Served hot or cold, this crumble is delicious with potatoes, rice or pasta, or in a mixed salad. Or, quite simply, it can be enjoyed on its own on fresh bread as an aperitif.
