Studded with red peppers and browned onions, our Cream of Mussel Curry is a creamy recipe with soft, harmonious notes. Rich in mussels, it has all the iodine and ocean flavour of shellfish. Sublimated by a touch of curry and coconut milk, it offers a subtly spicy finish for a slightly spicy twist!
Rich in omega-3 and vitamin B12, mussels are an excellent source of trace elements: iron, zinc, selenium and magnesium. Brittany bouchot mussels
Renowned for their unmistakable flavour and superior quality, Breton bouchot mussels are farmed using a traditional, artisanal method that dates back to 1235! Their excellence is also the result of their natural environment in Pénestin Bay and Cancale Bay: waters rocked by gentle, salty currents, rich in phytoplankton, which provide all the minerals necessary for their growth.
Our local supplier Axel Brière, a mussel farmer in Pénestin for three generations, founded Mussella, an association of Breton producers committed to promoting bouchot mussels, which are considered too small to be sold in fishmongers or restaurants.
Their innovative approach saves nearly a third of the production of these exceptional mussels. This gives us the opportunity to offer you a delicious and eco-friendly spread and soup for an increasingly virtuous diet!
- Ingredients : Mussels (45%), mussel juice (10%), rapeseed oil, coconut milk, browned onions, red peppers, water, egg yolk, shiitake mushrooms, spices including curry (0.3%), lemon juice, potato starch, egg white, salt, garlic, vegetable fibre (flax, citrus). "Despite the care taken, pieces of mussel shell may be present in the preparation".
